| Good wash, tar remover etc and claybar before using poliher. Clean paint surface is important so there won't be anything to get stuck to polishing pad and cause holograms etc. I used dual action polisher and after got skilled enough I bought rotary polisher. I did detail Z using dual action polisher, green Chemical Guys Hex-Logic Pads and Menzerna Final Finish (PO 85RD). Paint on Z seems to be quite soft so unless you have really bad paint surface, those finishing products will do the trick. And usually it is best to start with least aggressive products to minimize unnecessary paint removal. Clean your pads for example after one to two panels etc. Good guide is found at: [ http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=63859 ] Remember, it will take time to do everything properly!
